Valley Water, the producer of ELANO water, in collaboration with Ahl Masr Foundation for Burn Treatment, organized a medical convoy at Al-Wafaiya Health Unit in Beheira Governorate to provide healthcare services and medicines to local residents, while raising awareness of burn risks, prevention methods, and safety measures. Valley Water employees also participated voluntarily in the initiative.
The medical convoy was organized as part of Valley Water’s corporate social responsibility strategy and its commitment to supporting the healthcare sector and serving local communities through initiatives that address healthcare needs and promote preventive health awareness.
The convoy included four specialized medical clinics covering internal medicine, pediatrics, dermatology and burns, and orthopedics. The clinics provided medical examinations for residents and distributed the required medicines free of charge.
The initiative also featured health awareness sessions focusing on burn prevention and safe practices for dealing with potential hazards, with particular emphasis on families and children. These efforts aim to help reduce household accidents and promote a culture of safety and prevention.
Maha Abusaa, Corporate Impact and Communication Sr. Manager at Valley Water, said the organization of the medical convoy reflects the company’s commitment to its social responsibility and its efforts to establish effective partnerships with specialized organizations.
She explained that such partnerships help direct corporate social responsibility efforts toward initiatives that address the actual needs of local communities and create a sustainable positive impact.
“We are proud of our partnership with Ahl Masr Foundation and Hospital for Burn Treatment on this important initiative, which reflects our belief that corporate social responsibility goes beyond providing support to actively participating in initiatives that make a tangible difference in people’s lives,” Abusaa said.
She added that awareness and prevention are essential to reducing burn risks, particularly among families and children, noting that Valley Water is committed to supporting initiatives that prioritize health education and access to healthcare for underserved communities.
Abusaa emphasized that supporting the healthcare sector is one of the key pillars of Valley Water’s corporate social responsibility strategy, reflecting the company’s belief that improving quality of life begins with access to healthcare services and stronger preventive health awareness.
She noted that the partnership with Ahl Masr demonstrates the importance of cooperation between the private sector and civil society organizations in addressing healthcare challenges and reaching communities in need.
Abusaa also highlighted the participation of Valley Water employees in the medical convoy, saying it reflects the company’s commitment to fostering a culture of volunteerism within the workplace and providing employees with opportunities to contribute directly to their communities.
She explained that this approach makes corporate social responsibility an integral part of Valley Water’s corporate culture rather than a series of activities separate from its operations.
Abusaa stressed that investing in people’s health and safety remains a key priority for Valley Water, reaffirming the company’s commitment to continuously developing its corporate social responsibility programs.
She added that the company will continue to focus on raising awareness of burn risks, reducing household accidents, and encouraging greater employee participation in volunteer activities, supporting community development and contributing to a safer environment for families and children.
