In 1976 the Alaska Public Utility commission granted water rights for the area. Then the construction of the water lines began. From then on water lines have been added to make a total of over 50,000 lineal feet. The water comes from 2 six inch wells that are 143 feet deep. There is also 1 twelve inch well that is also 143 feet deep. Those wells feed an 185,000 gallon reservoir.
We service approximately 300+ customers at any given time. We also provide service to the local elementary school.
